What is AutoSnap?
AutoSnap is an iOS app that lets you add sentences or 'snaps' to easily paste into other apps. The app includes a keyboard extension, which lets you switch to your saved snaps from the default iOS keyboard. In most cases, people use this app to spam their friends on Snapchat or iMessage. By holding down the send button, the user can send the message up to 20 times a second.

TikTok
My idea for this app came from a TikTok trend. In June of 2021, there was a trend where people would spam their friends with a few different kinds of apps, but all of them required you to paste the phrase and then tap the send button to spam, which was slow. I realized that many apps such as Snapchat and Tiktok had the send button built into the keyboard, so I figured that a custom keyboard extension for a spamming app could essentially 'press' the enter button instead of the user. I got to work and after two days I had a finished product ready to publish.
Once I published the app, I started making TikTok videos in hopes that a few hundred people may find it useful and download it. My first few videos were pretty successful and got my app about a thousand downloads. Then one of my videos blew up and ended up getting over 2.5 million views, placing the app on the top charts for the App Store. Over a few days, the app skyrocketed to 250,000 downloads. Finally, I sold the app along with an android version I had been making over the previous few weeks.
